Preparating data files for printing

File formats suitable for printing
All data files for printing must be in the CMYK colour system.
Obligatory file settings:

Raster graphics of tiff and eps formats
• Tiff: 4 channels (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black).
• Eps: not to be split in separate channels.
• No additional alpha-channels, no paths and no LZW compression.
Vectorial graphics of eps format
• Only the CMYK palette is to be used for all components of vectorial graphics.
• All fonts must be italicized.
• Raster graphics of any file must be in the CMYK colour system.

Making black colour
• C70% , M60%,  Y60%, K100%

Maximum total amount of colours
• Total amount of colours in any part of a file cannot exceed 300%.
• In case Your printing is to be used outdoors, M 1:1:
• Up to 12 sq. m – 72 dpi;
• 12 sq. m to 40 sq. m – 30 dpi;
• 40 sq. m to 100 sq. m – 25 dpi;
• 100 sq. m to 150 sq. m – 20 dpi;
• Over 150 sq. m – 15 dpi.
• Min 72 dpi (for 2x3 m and photo images with no minor outline components);
• Max 150 dpi (for images with minor components; to achieve maximum result use curvilinear graphics for minor components, letters and the like).
• In case of especially small format printings (A3, A4 format), M1:1:
• 350 dpi for raster files (see above for curvilinear files). Edging tolerances: 5 mm.
